balitmore men are great, even if only for the reason that they make a girl feel really attractive when we walk down the street. LOL. It is the consensus among my friends that they are very vocal if we put in the tiniest bit of effort, there is a 90% chance someone will tell us we are beautiful. And not only will they say it, but they do it with great zest. there is nothing like getting a compliment when you least expect it.

anyway, i have more complaints about my office: it is often freezing in here. For me, this means I have to wear not one, but two sweaters in the middle of an humid east coast summer. Today, it is in the eighties outside but i have to wear this MERINO WOOL cowlneck sweater dress indoors. It was so hot on my walk to work. However, the gods who control the temperature in my building played a trick on me: yesterday was a two-sweater-day, today is a no-sweater day! haha - how funny! silly me. Now i am hot in my sweater dress and I’m just gonna have to deal with it.

EDIT: i just realized i have to walk to court today. it’s gonna be so friggin’ hot! :(

i loved michael jackson even when it wasn’t cool to anymore. he will always be the king of pop in my heart. in case you haven’t heard the bad news, michael jackson died today of a heart attack at age 50. RIP Michael Jackson. i feel like i lost someone i know. :(

mosquito bite update: the calamine has consistently worked great. i didn’t take benadryl last night but i probably will tonight.

so the hot spoon method does not get rid of the bite, it only offers temporary relief. sigh. my walk to work continued to agitate the bites and i had to apply the hot spoon method at the office. nice. my walk home only made it worse and the bites are bigger than ever. one of my friends offered calamine lotion and so far it’s working great. however, i have places to go this afternoon that will require walking so i am going to try to wear socks and tennis shoes with foot powder to reduce the friction as much as possible. hopefully it will work. either way, i am taking benadryl tonight. btw, this is the fourth day.
